Dr. Sonoda fosters a patient-centered approach that reflects his patients' values, while promoting healthy behaviors, preventing illness, and developing individualized care plans using the latest evidence-based medicine and recommendations. He is also interested in medical education, harm reduction, and the stigma around addiction.
Dr. Sonoda is an assistant professor with the Department of Family Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is also a member of the St. Louis Academy of Family Physicians; Missouri Academy of Family Physicians; and Saint Louis Japanese Association.

Kento was very concerned about my mental health and he did a good job making me feel like he care and that everything will be alright he is not my doctor I see all the time was my first time with him and I feel like I rather have him as my doctor permanently
