She offers retinal detachment surgery, macular hole surgery, epiretinal membrane surgery and surgery for eye trauma. In addition, she offers medical therapies for hereditary retinal degeneration, such as retinitis pigmentosa, retinal vascular occlusions, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Dr. Piri's research interests include experimental models of hereditary retinal degenerations, diagnostic techniques in uveitis, and imaging in retina and uveitis disorders.
