Shulamit Portnoy, MD

Dr. Shulamit Portnoy is a pediatric neurologist who treats children with developmental and behavioral issues stemming from neurological and genetic disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, neuro-developmental disabilities, and communication disorders. She provides comprehensive evaluations, including developmental and behavioral assessments and medical examination. She offers referrals for additional testing and coordination of referrals to specialty services, therapies and educational resources.

Dr. Portnoy's research interests include autism, psychopharmacology and teaching.

Dr. Portnoy is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental Pediatrics, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
