Dr. Connie Anderson is a neonatologist who cares for sick newborn babies, including those who are delivered full term and those delivered extremely premature. She provides antenatal consultation and care for all newborns, including normal and sick babies, and those in need of Level II-IV neonatal intensive care. She also provides outpatient care in the high-risk follow-up nursery clinic.
Her research interests include neurodevelopmental disabilities and long-term follow-up. She is also interested in the use of steroids in premature infants and effects related to short-term and long-term outcomes.
Dr. Anderson is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
