Dr. Renee Manley-Markowski specializes in emergency care for critically ill and seriously injured pediatric and adolescent patients. She treats trauma and firearms injuries, and performs pediatric resuscitation and sedation. Dr. Manley-Markowski uses a multidisciplinary approach to minimize pain and anxiety in pediatric patients.
Her research interests include injury prevention, firearms injuries and resuscitation of pediatric trauma patients.
Dr. Manley-Markowski is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
As a child, she was a featured pianist in a local PBS documentary on ragtime music.
