Dr. Zachary Hamilton specializes in the surgical and medical treatment of urologic cancers, including kidney, testicular, prostate, penile, adrenal, and urothelial cancers. He performs procedures that include: radical and partial nephrectomy; cystectomy; neobladder; adrenalectomy; radical and partial penectomy; prostatectomy; and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. He has extensive experience in robotic surgery and minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Hamilton has published numerous papers and has an extensive research portfolio, including an interest in health outcomes research regarding the surgical treatment of kidney and bladder cancer.
Dr. Hamilton is the division director and associate professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urologic Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He serves on multiple hospital and regional committees, including at the School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Urologic Oncology, Society of Robotic Surgery, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
