Dr. Xavier R. Packianathan is a vascular and interventional radiologist who performs procedures using minimally invasive techniques under imaging guidance (ultrasound, CT, X-ray).
His special interests include interventional pain management techniques that require imaging guidance, in addition to arterial, venous, body, trauma and tumor related-interventions, angioplasty, stent placement and embolization procedures.
Dr. Packianathan is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology, Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, Spine Intervention Society and American Academy of Pain Medicine.
