Dr. Nisha Mangalat cares for children with a variety of gastrointestinal issues: abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, constipation, reflux, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease including Crohn's disease and colitis, short bowel syndrome and intestinal failure.
Her research interests are in medical education and pediatric short bowel syndrome/intestinal failure.
Dr. Mangalat is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is the Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship program director.
She is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition.
