I was surprised that a medication was Rx. I was surprised that I needed to make inquiry/confirmation regarding a potentially serious side effect regarding this medication. I had understood that the consult was just to have confirmed that another type of medical event had been ruled out. My pcp made the referral for this appointment. It could be that my understanding of what the appointment was for was inaccurate. Dr. Simionescu was professional, thorough, and she listened to and answered all of my questions.

Part of the difficulty with this appt. was due to my poor hearing as I had just lost one of my hearing aids in the past week and with the Dr.'s accent I had more difficulty hearing. I have no problem with the Drs. abilities and hope to try again.
