Dr. Molly Barr is a pediatric gastroenterologist who treats patients from birth to 18 years old. She diagnoses and manages various gastrointestinal conditions, including constipation, encopresis, diarrhea, chronic abdominal pain, gut-brain interaction disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, feeding and swallowing disorders, and growth/nutritional deficiencies. She performs endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomies, rectal suction biopsies, and anal Botox.
Dr. Barr strives to help children feel better - physically, emotionally, socially - so they can return to playing, learning, and enjoying life. She partners with patients and their families, providing care that is effective, compassionate, and supportive, believing that trust, understanding, and kindness are as essential to healing as clinical expertise.
Dr. Barr is an assistant professor with the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
