314-257-3760Dr. Marina Kim is an interventional gastroenterologist who treats adult patients with complex gastrointestinal (GI) disease, providing safe, effective, and minimally invasive treatment options. In addition to standard procedures, she performs numerous advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures for GI-related diseases and conditions.
Dr. Kim's research interests include device innovation; efficiency in the endoscopy suite; preventing infections in endoscopy; effective screening, surveillance, and management of precancerous lesions in the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas; and surgical endoscopy and endoscopic management of obesity, GERD, and achalasia.
Dr. Kim is an assistant professor with the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
She is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy; Women in Interventional Endoscopy Association; American Gastroenterological Association; and American College of Gastroenterology.
Fun fact: Dr. Kim is an open water scuba diver and climbed Mount Fuji in Japan.
