Kurtis Sobush, MD

Dr. Sobush treats asthma, chronic cough, airway malformations, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary disorders related to neuromuscular weakness, prematurity, tracheostomy care, chronic home ventilation and chronic aspiration. As director of the Complex Medical Care Program, he manages children with medical complexity to minimize unexpected care complications in both the hospital and clinical environment.
Dr. Sobush teams with patients' families, primary care providers, and home health companies to use state-of-the-art home ventilator technologies to aid transition from hospital to home with optimal safety.
His research interests include conditions related to tracheostomy care, coordination of care for children with medical complexity, and airway infections in children requiring ventilation.
Dr. Sobush is an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pulmonology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
