Kathryn Elkins, MD

Dr. Kathryn Elkins is a pediatric neurologist who cares for patients from birth to 18 years old. She specializes in diagnosing and treating general neurological diseases, epilepsy, and genetic epilepsy. She provides EEG interpretations and ketogenic diet recommendations to help patients identify and manage their epilepsy, respectively.

Dr. Elkins' mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive neurological care to patients and their families, ensuring they have the most up-to-date treatment options and proper education to make informed medical decisions.

Dr. Elkins is an assistant professor of Pediatric Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a member on the education committee for the American Epilepsy Society, and a reviewer for the Journal of Child Neurology and Child Neurology Open.

Fun fact: Dr. Elkins loves cooking, which feeds her interest in the ketogenic diet as an epilepsy treatment.
