Fadee Abualrub, MD

Dr. Fadee Abu Al Rub is a specialist in transplant nephrology. He evaluates and prepares patients with end-stage kidney disease for kidney transplantation and manages the medical complications afterwards. This includes rejection, opportunistic infections, and recurrent glomerulonephritis. In addition, he helps transplant patients manage blood pressure and electrolyte disorders.
Dr. Abu Al Rub also cares for other types of transplant patients who receiving immunosuppression therapies.
His research interests include the use of cytogenetics in evaluating kidney transplant patients, the role of novel immunosuppression in kidney transplant after rejection, and treatment of opportunistic viral infections after transplant.
Dr. Abu Al Rub is an assistant professor of Transplant Nephrology in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, as well as the American Society of Transplantation.
