Dr. Eric Ballon-Landa provides comprehensive urologic care for both male and female patients. In addition to general urology, he performs robotic surgery of the prostate, bladder, kidney, and ureter; microsurgical treatment of varicocele and spermatic cord denervation; ultrasound-guided percutaneous kidney stone surgery; and minimally invasive surgeries for benign prostate hyperplasia (REZUM, Urolift).
In addition, Dr. Ballon-Landa evaluates and treats urologic cancer of the prostate, kidney, ureter, bladder, testis, and penis, and performs MRI- and ultrasound-guided transperineal prostate biopsy in clinic.
Dr. Ballon-Landa is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and member of the American Urological Association.
His research interests include improving quality of care and patient selection in screening for urologic disease among older adults, as well as optimizing imaging technologies used for urologic stone surgery.
