Dr. Eddy Hsueh performs complex cancer surgery for patients with melanoma, sarcoma, pancreatic cancer, metastatic colon cancer and gastric cancer. He uses the most current technology in his practice, including laparoscopic liver and pancreatic surgery, and sentinel lymph node biopsy.
Dr. Hsueh is interested in research that investigates tumor immunology and tumor metabolism. His laboratory also studies the surgical treatment of melanoma and other advanced cancers and sarcomas.
He is a professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Hsueh heads surgical oncology for the division.
