Ece Isin Akduman, MD

Dr. Akduman is an Associate Professor and the Medical Director of the MRI Department of Radiology. She is the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency. Dr. Akduman is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and she has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Akduman obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in Ankara, Turkey. She completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency and a clinical fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She also completed a research fellowship in Body MRI at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Akduman's areas of clinical interest include Body MRI. She has special expertise in and is interested in research in body MRI, MR Spectroscopy of the pancreas and liver and Cardiac MRI.
